Our Firm’s Genesis

After graduating from the University of Iowa’s College of Law in 2007, Freeman Green began his law practice as an associate attorney at the Law Office of Eden Rose Brown. There, his new friends Eden Rose Brown and Scott Corey introduced him to the world of estate planning. Freeman found estate planning, probate, and after-death administration a compelling and interesting way to earn a living and contribute positively to society while practicing law.

In 2010, Freeman joined the law firm of Saalfeld Griggs PC as an associate attorney, where he continued to grow his practice under the mentorship of his friends Bob Saalfeld and Jeffrey Moore. Freeman became a partner at Saalfeld Griggs in 2018.

Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, the siren’s call came. In 2021 Freeman left Saalfeld Griggs to open his own independent law firm, Freeman Green Law, where he continues to advise clients on a variety of estate planning issues, including wills, trusts, probate, trust administration, business succession, and estate tax.
